The queen sized room offered spacious comfort, awesome for a good night's sleep in a peaceful atmosphere. The quality of complimentary toiletries was excellent.
Reception closing early left us figuring out how to access our rooms, which could have been smoother if proper communication was in place. Both rooms were quite cold upon arrival, needing significant time to warm up, with the bathrooms remaining chilly due to non-functioning heating. A simple handheld shower over the bath was inconvenient, especially after a long day on the road, leaving little room for comfort during a shampoo session.

Very relaxed ambience, large and comfortable room, surrounded by fit young people.
The walk to the Clubhouse for breakfast would be unpleasant if it was raining.

Super-friendly and outstandingly accommodating staff, they know their business. A suite has basic facilities you need. The setting is incredible and amazing, close enough to the clubhouse, bistro and reception, the bistro restaurant and the Bistro on the Green.

The rooms are spacious with high-quality furnishings. Beds are super comfy, ensuring a good night's sleep with really good views of the surrounding area.
There's a lack of proper shower facilities, with many rooms with only handheld showers over the bathtub, which can be tricky to use. Guests have reported problems with room temperature control upon arrival, often finding their rooms cold and needing time to warm up. The restaurant hours are pretty early, closing at 5 PM, which limits your dining options if you're planning a later evening. Some reviews mentioned cleanliness issues, including unemptied kettles and remnants from prior guests, which can leave a less-than-great impression.

Good service, very peaceful and great value place. Perfect and excellent location, close to the coast. Stylish and newly remodelled units with balcony overlooking 14th tee.

The tranquility of the setting. The standard of cleanliness and the fact the ensuite had a bath, 2 basins, large fluffy bath sheets and complimentary soaps, shampoos, conditioners and body lotions. Good, free WiFi connection. Lovely breakfast menu choices. Plenty of very hot water. A large room with a super view over the 1st tee. Staff friendly, courteous and accommodating. Food could be obtained all day in the Club House. It was a pleasure to stay here, and we shall certainly stay again when we are in the area.
If it rained, you got wet walking to the Club House for breakfast. Some guests may want a separate shower facility and not a bath. (The shower was an attachment within the bath) The water in the bathroom was 'scalding' hot, so be aware. TV restricted to 4 terrestrial channels, and no facilities in the bathroom for ladies with 'sanitary needs'.

Does it deliver?
The room was massive and comfortable, with a superb Queen bed! Breakfast had an excellent variety and was one of the best we've enjoyed.
Limited dining options, especially with the restaurant closing by 5 PM! The absence of a proper shower facility was quite inconvenient.

We really enjoyed our stay, but the restaurant closed early, and the room lacked a proper shower, a bit of a letdown. Breakfast was fab, heaps of options!

We enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere, also the fact that the hotel building was located away from the clubhouse
It was not clear exactly where we were to check in when we arrived
